Dr. Jeff Goeders is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at BYU. He received his BASc degree in computer engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada in 2010 and his MASc and PhD degrees in computer engineering from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in 2012 and 2016. His research interests focus on reconfigurable computing and embedded systems, with an emphasis on tools for FPGA security, debugging technologies, open-source hardware compilers, and embedded system reliability. He is a senior member of the IEEE and ACM.
Scott Lloyd received a PhD in computer science from Brigham Young University and has broad experience in the industry. His most recent work at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory involved research with advanced memory systems and accelerators. Scott cofounded a parallel-processing company (which became Linux Networx), worked with diagnostic imaging at GE Medical Systems, and investigated processor-in-memory architecture at Micron Technology. His research interests include high-performance computing, near-memory accelerators, computer architecture, and reconfigurable computing.
Philip B. Lundrigan is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at BYU. He received his BS degree in computer engineering from Brigham Young University in 2012 and his PhD in computer science from the University of Utah in 2018. His main research focuses are the Internet of Things, underwater networking, spectrum coordination, and wireless network management. He is interested in building real systems that enhance and extend wireless networks.
